LVW was born out of the need of running a busy veggie group in the Thames Valley. The Internet is key to our group's success.
For others running similar groups your membership numbers will directly relate to the influence you can have on your local community. A dynamic, exciting and easily updateable web site will be key to attracting new members and impressing upon local business that catering for veggies is more than worth while. Your group will most probably be your most successful way of increasing the number of vegans and vegetarians.
It helps to have a web site to prompt veggie interest outside of a group context. Group co-ordinators and local activists need something that makes the best use of their time in putting across their ideas, not in programming web sites. LVW gives the structure and support you need to get your ideas on-line within hours.
Good LVW sites get over 5000 visitors a month - there is no other way of getting that sort of exposure without producing a glossy magazine or buying a TV station.
There are many ways to prompt vegginess but none are as effective in time and resources as having a good web presence - it is for these reasons I created LVW.
